By pure accident I was introduced to AgriZar and saw an immediate effect on lowering clinical cases of mastitis in my loose housed system. Since then cases have remained at 60% less than during “normal” winters. It is quick and easy to apply with a knapsack sprayer, can be done whilst milking and milking has, once again, become enjoyable! I have applied AgriZar once a day, every other day and more recently twice a day after the snow at the end of March. On my system I estimate that savings for a full year would be as follows: £15,000 saved on time spent in the parlour and the chemicals that are used for parlour hygiene. £5,000 saved on not cleaning the sheds out 6 times per winter. £5,000 saved on 60% less clinical cases and the lowering of SCC. These figures are only an estimate as I have not been using the product for a full year.

This year I had trouble with orf on my lambs which lead to them eating less grass and looking poor, but after speaking with Jonathan I applied Agrizar to the infected area and In 2-3 weeks it had cleared up and the lambs are looking very well.

We have used the Green Guardian throughout the year on our 500 head commercial sheep flock, with great effect. Every time ewes and lambs come in to the yard they are run through the foot bath. Anything seen to be lame is caught, trimmed and sprayed with Green Guardian, which is made up in a spray bottle, for easy application. It is very user friendly - no unpleasant smell, it is kind on the sheep - while remaining extremely effective. Its keeping our flock on 4 feet!
